A Piece of Sherman History Returns—You Won’t Believe Where It’s Going!
‼️ Piece of Sherman’s History is Coming Home! ‼️ Get ready, Sherman! The iconic Texas Theater sign is making its long-awaited return. Once a beacon on Houston Street, this historic landmark is set to anchor a brand-new monument in downtown Sherman, at the corner of Crockett and Houston Street.The Sherman City Council has officially approved the agreement to bring the sign back from Austin’s Bullock Museum. The sign was generously donated by a local who lovingly preserved it for years.This is a true homecoming for a beloved piece of our city’s history! The monument is expected to be completed next year.
